Meshach Kanyion is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. He previously served at Friendship UMC in Wyoming, OH. As of July 2022, he is now serving at Church of the Saviour UMC in Montgomery, OH. He and his wife, Ashanti, have 5 children (Charlee, Sameera, Elias, Trinity and Gabriel).

Before entering pastoral ministry Meshach served in the United States Marine Corps reserve, while attending the Ohio State University. After graduating he began what he thought would be his life's long journey of becoming a fund manager, when he heard God's call to ministry. In response to this call he enrolled as a student at United Theological Seminary in 2008.

Since then he's been learning, teaching and preaching, about the Kingdom of God and seeking to help individuals and communities live in harmony with it. He now says his life's work is “to study and integrate the life and teaching of Jesus into my own life, and help others do the same.”
