LENT 2023

Our Journey in Lent

Let’s explore the 40 days of Lent together as a faith-filled journey. Lent is an intentional time or season for us to prepare our hearts, mind, body, and soul with the Lord. We will journey with Jesus as he reveals his love for us in his ministry, death, and resurrection. May Christ transform our Lent journey to draw us closer to both God and one another as a group, family or individual and follow along the described journey of Jesus to the cross.

Ash Wednesday | February 22, 2023 | 7:00 pm

We will be hosting an Ash Wednesday service on February 22nd at 7:00. At Ash Wednesday service, you are invited to come forward to receive the ashes. The pastor will make a small cross on your forehead by smudging the ashes. While the ashes remind us of our mortality and sin, the cross reminds us of Jesus' resurrection (life after death) and forgiveness. *This year's Ash Wednesday Service is in-person only.

If you're not able to make the service, a brief meditation is posted above.

April 2, 2023 | Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is the Christian holiday that occurs on the Sunday before Easter. This celebration commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, mentioned in each of the four Gospels.

Jesus entered the city knowing He would be tried and crucified and welcomed His fate to rise from the grave and save us from sin! Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, the remembrance of Jesus' last days to the cross.

April 6, 2023 - 7:00 pm | In Person and Online

On the Thursday before Good Friday and Easter, we observe Maundy Thursday. This day commemorates Jesus’s last supper with his disciples. During that meal in the upper room, Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and gave them a new commandment: “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (John 13:34).
