WE'RE HERE TO HELP
“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.” - 2 Corinthians 9:12
Helping Hands is a new ministry at Church of the Saviour! Helping Hands connects those who need help with those who can help. It’s that simple.
Need a Helping Hand? Everyone needs a helping hand at different times of life. If you or someone you know could use a helping hand, click below. It will be received confidentially by church staff and we will work with you to connect you to help.
Want to be a Helping Hand? We need you! We may have some needs that can be fulfilled by people like you! We will post new ways you can help and sign up to be a Helping Hands Helper. To respect privacy, the need will remain anonymous until the connection is made to the person providing help.
Helping Hands volunteers can help in so many ways such as:
-
A meal train sign-up
-
Someone to run errands (such as shopping)
-
Help with technology (such as how to use Zoom)
Some Helping Hands are best done with a service team. These service teams will be organized through a church-wide monthly service day called “Service Saturday.” If you are interested in volunteering for a Service Saturday, look below for more information or to sign-up.
Service Saturday Teams serve in a variety of ways such as:
-
Yardwork
-
Changing lightbulbs or fire alarm batteries
-
Simple home repairs
-
Painting
Whether you need help or want to help, Helping Hands is the place to get connected. Get connected to help. Get connected to service. Get connected to God.
