What is Drive Through Nativity? 

 

For the past 35 years, Church of the Saviour has hosted the Drive Through Nativity as our Christmas gift to the community! Ten different live scenes capture biblical times with animals and inspirational music. The scenes are placed throughout the parking lot at the back of the church.

 

Mark Your Calendar: This year’s Drive Through Nativity will be held on December 10 (5:30-7:30 pm).

Admission is FREE and we have never taken any donations. The event takes place regardless of weather. It takes 10 minutes to drive through. You do not have to leave the warmth of your car.

 

Drive Through Nativity Needs YOU! 

We need over 200 volunteers to make everything come together for Drive Through Nativity. There is something for nearly everyone (as long as you’re past the 3rd grade!). Click here for the link to register! The Deadline for signups is December 3.

We need help in these areas . . .

• Act in the scenes—YOUTH (grades 4-12). Have your friends – even those who do not attend Church of the Saviour - sign up with you too!!)

• Act as ADULT travelers on the road to Bethlehem

• Assist YOUTH and ADULT actors to put on their costumes

• Set up sets OUTSIDE on Saturday morning and/or Sunday afternoon

• Work with TRAFFIC people to control the entry and exit of cars during the event

• Help with LUMINARIES (set up and tear down)

• Assist with SOUND set up and tear down

• Tear down sets OUTSIDE on Sunday evening

• Clean up the church building after the event
