YOUTH MUSIC

Youth in GRADES 7-12 are invited to join choral, handbell, instrumental, and praise band groups throughout the year. These groups are open to all students who want to develop and serve musically even if they aren’t regularly part of our congregation.

CHOIR AND HANDBELL REHEARSAL

Youth in Junior High and High School come together on Sunday afternoons to rehearse. This program partners with Sunday Night Youth Group, which starts at 6pm. Here’s the Sunday music lineup:

Youth Ringers (Grades 7-12) Sunday 4-5pm
Youth Choir (Grades 7- 12) Sunday 5-6pm

PRAISE BAND REHEARSAL

Youth Praise Band is an opportunity for Junior High and High School Students to rehearse and perform contemporary Christian Music. Students who play guitar, bass, percussion, keyboard and more come together on Wednesday evenings to rehearse and perform during Sunday Night Youth Group. Here are the details:

Praise Band (Grades 7 - 12) 2nd & 4th Wednesdays 6-7 pm

INSTRUMENTALISTS

Students who play winds, strings, and percussion are often asked to participate in special worship services and play in ensembles.

WORSHIP

Youth groups participate in worship throughout the year. Youth Choir sings the first Sunday of each month. Bells and instrumentalists lead in a variety of worship services.

TOUR

Each summer, the choir and ringers travel on tour for a week in early June. This opportunity allows our youth musicians to share with others through worship concerts and mission service.
