About the Event
The march for justice is a marathon, but as followers of Christ, we do not run alone.
There is an opportunity to continue the march – or to take first steps – coming up this April. On Saturday, April 22, 9 AM to noon at New Vision United Methodist Church, the first Listening Circles event is taking place. What is a Listening Circle? It is a compassionate, thoughtful, intentional gathering of folks around a table, to discuss topics of racial justice, to learn from one another, and move towards the dream of Beloved Community.
Whether you have been in this work for a long time, or you are just tiptoeing in, this is a great place to begin.
