Mission Projects We commit to mission work in our community and beyond. Some of the mission projects supported by Church of the Saviour United Methodist Women’s Circles are . . . - Blue Ash Nursing Home - Easter baskets are provided for all residents, coordinated by Susanna Wesley Circle.
- Children’s Closet - United Methodist Women coordinate the collection and distribution of new and gently used children’s clothing and personal items to designated organizations that benefit women and children.
- Foreign Child Support - We support Suellen who lives in Brazil through the Children’s Christian Fund. This financial aid helps provide better medical and dental care, nutrition, and education.
- Gifts from the Heart - Hannah Circle sponsors this church-wide project to make Christmas brighter for children and their families in our local communities by providing gifts to those in need.
- Local Mission Support - We coordinate several fund-raising projects each year (rummage sale, product surveys, bake sale, etc). Proceeds from these activities help support many local missions (Footcare Clinic, Twin Towers, Wesley Chapel Mission Center, Bethany House, and Wesley Education Center among others).
- Prayer Shawls are made by UMW members and given to members and friends in need of healing.
- Project 5000 - United Methodist Women coordinates this church-wide program to provide food boxes to those in need in the greater community of Cincinnati.
- Wesley Chapel Mission Center - This Over-the-Rhine after school program for neighborhood children receives contributions of supplies, birthday treats, clothing, and hands-on help from UMW members and the Children’s Closet.
- Lincoln Crawford Nursing & Rehabilitation receives Christmas cards with $2 included from all members attending the Christmas UMW dinner & program.
