The Facilities Task Force (created to evaluate our current and future facility needs) is in the midst of surveying all our Purpose and Administrative Groups.However, if we focused only on the Purpose and Administrative groups we would hear from a small fraction of the congregation.

Mission Maniacs Sept 26! (Kindergarten-6th grade) from 12:00-1:45—This small group for kids focuses on completing projects for different Church of the Saviour ministries.Each gathering includes lunch, a mission project. and guest speaker (when available).If your child would like to touch another life by sharing God’s love, then please join us.Mission Maniacs will meet once a month beginning in September and ending in June.Advanced registration appreciated but not required….sign up on the Children’s Ministry Bulletin Board.Next Meeting Oct 31.

Celebrate the beginning of fall with us!Children’s Ministries is having a fall kick off celebration September 19th from noon-3….and all families are invited.Bounce House, games, crafts, food and fun are all included in this event.Make plans to stop by the front lawn after church is over for our Bounce into Fall event!
Third Grade Bible Day—September 12 at all worship services.Each year we honor our third graders by giving them a “Hands on Bible.”We want to equip our children with the number one resource to help with continuing them on their journey of Christian faith.Bibles are handed out during the church services.If you have a 3rd grader interested in receiving a Bible please contact Susie Taylor.
Third Grade Bible Scavenger Hunt!September 10 (6:30-8:00 p.m.).An extra special event is planned this year for our third graders and their parents.An evening of Bible challenges will provide each third grader with some hands-on experience with their Bible before receiving it on Sunday, September 12.
Please consider joining us for a mommy” time- out”!! We meet the fourth Tuesday of every month. In September we will meet on Tuesday the 28th from 7pm-9pm. We will be discussing the Proverbs 31 Magazine. It will include 6 short yet wonderful articles to discuss.

The Fall Special Ministry Offering will take place on Sunday, September 19.The Fall Offering will support Crow Creek Indian Reservation, Wesley Education Center, and Tender Mercies.This Sunday we will highlight the ministry and purpose of Wesley Education Center.Wesley Education Center, which is not the same as Wesley Chapel, is located in South Avondale.
